good, I would try and do daily water changes for a few days , maybe this low pressure in UK at the moment will help too.

The females trying to escape and has her tail out of the cave, but the males jumping on top of her and refusing to let her leave. Is this right/normal?

Its normal Paul. Just the female might not want to spawn but the male is trying to get her to give up her eggs. Be prepared for abit of wear and tear on the females flanks when she comes out. Might be worth you keep the fix twins handy for her

Cheers Gee. I can only see the females tail at the moment and there's no damage on that, the male however has damage on most of his fins. Going to set up they're own breeding tank tomorrow.

The last trapping from my L134 male and his preferred female was 5 days, must admit I was getting a wee bit worried but thankfully spawned and no harm to the female :) so don't worry just yet, just keep the water clean if they have injuries but would agree with Gee, don't move them yet!

Alright cheers for all the advice. I can't see who's in the cave tonight and don't want to turn the lights on in case I spoke Daddy so I'll check again in the morning.

Pretty much nothing lol. I do a 10% change every other day or every 2 days ish depending on work and just feed a few different meaty foods heh. Guessing she just refused to drop her eggs for him and manage to finally escape. Shall I still leave everything as it is at the moment or set up a breeding tank?

sounds to me like you already have a potential breeding tank.
as gee says, just keep doing what you are doing, they seem to have the right idea and will sort themselves out soon enough.
good luck
