This all,
Just joined the forum and am fairly new to the hobby.

I have a tank with
2 Brown common BN (1m 1f)
2 Albino common BN (1m 1f)
They have just started breeding in the last month.

First spawn of the brown male resulted in 22 albino and 48 brown.
I suspect that he was looking after 2 cluches, from both the brown and albino females due to the ratio.

His current spawn looks to be a fairly small clutch. I know that the eggs have come from the albino. They have all hatched and are consuming their egg sacks. By the looks of it, they are 100% Albino fry.
If a common brown and albino spawn i would expect ~25-50% to be albino.
Could my Brown male be playing step dad to my albino males fry? Or is there something else going on with genetics?

I have read some forum posts around the expected ratio's but mine don't seem to align.
