Gutted! 1 left, one didnt hatch and the others sac broke....any ideas why this happens?

maybe first spawn bad luck??
gutted for you still, but hopefully the next spawn will turn out better

It seems to happen when they first start out FF. The ones I am breeding now did exactly the same thing. The fry hatched but looked very weak and started to die off over the following days. Dont worry though because they will spawn again and you should get better results as they keep spawning.

Well done that they have spawned gutted about the losses but this is normal the next lot will be stronger and a bigger spawn the male will probably handle them better as well but now they have at least started to do the deed. :clap::clap::clap:

This little guys yolk hasnt been absorbed yet....is this normal?

they normally take 14 days to absorb there yolk sacs longer in cooler temps

there are methods to help hatching--you could look into those for next time.

like others said, it could just be due to the "first spawn effect".
