He managed to get to almost 4 days this time so he is improving but he just cant suss the parent care role out yet. I found what was left of the spawn underneath a leaf. Probably 30 eggs and I can see them wiggling inside.

would that be the same fish murderer that visited :lol:

eggs look good, fingers crossed. shame he booted them again though :wb:

i had the same thing last night gee with my 400s :wb::wb::wb::wb:
ive moved them to a trap now so fingers crossed :)

Well the eggs have started hatching. Most of them look very lame so not sure if they are gonna make it but I dont normally see fry until they are a few days old and whizzing around on their space hopper:D

I don't know what you're complaining about. I can't even get my males out of their caves to remove fry. Pfft.

Thats how I know they are going to spawn. He only ever goes near the cave if he is due to spawn. Normally a couple of days after he has moved into the cave the female will start to dance around the cave. They follow day she will be trapped or would have spawned.
