Hi,

no, we were not swimming in the blue cave.

We drove to the Rio da Casca - am grünen Pin.

The high level of Chapada dos Guimarães is also the watershed between the Amazon river and the Rio Parana river.
For example, the Rio da Casca flows to the Rio Xingu.

Unfortunately, the species richness was not so great - but better than nothing:

Cachoeira da Marthina

water values - at 2.00 pm: pH 6,71 - 22,3 °C - 5 µS/cm

After breakfast we went - first back towards Cuiabá and then to North.

Hi,

on this day we went to the Amazon rain forest, to Sao José do Rio Claro.

Map

A view to the City Diamantino - Why is the place were call that? ;)

Miles and miles of sugar cane plantation

... or eucalyptus

Welcome to the rainforest - well, we were there unfortunately abundant 30 years too late. Meanwhile, the rain forest border is nearly 100 km to north today.

... a few pictures from the trip:

Athene cunicularia

Even with the Rhea (only) Daddy is for "child care" in the duty.
