Breeding Bristlenose plecos.

Hi my name is Martin. I am going to try breeding Bristlenose plecos. do I need to take out all my fine gravel and have just a bare tank. Or would gravel be OK. I have got a mail all ready and getting two Female this week. Have got cave and bog wood. Any advise welcome. Thank's in advance Martin.

I have bristlenose breeding in my community tank at the moment (it was accidental) and from what I can tell they are fairly easy to breed. I have gravel but I have seen people on here who swear by bare bottom.

If you have gravel it just means you need to gravel vac areas to stop a build up of detritus. I have bare bottom but I also have a canister where my main tank bacteria lives.

gravel is fine, but not very deep.
