These are a very large L number so to breed these you would firstly need
1) A very large tank
2) Very large caves
3) Very large filter
4) Very large feedings of rich food such as frozen brine shrimp/bloodworms to get the females producing some eggs.
With those i'm sure you can breed these guys, although it might not happen straight away.

Yep he's got a monster tank, hopefully we will see some Aussie bred L14's soon.:drool::drool::drool:
Good luck man, apparently they have been bred in captivity, its confirmed in the back to nature L catfish book.
His tank is well over 1500L and looks great unlike a black tub, and your missus will most likely throw you out for having a black tub in the house.:lol:
That would take up half my unit actually.....:hi: She probably throw me in the tub and not out of the house.
