Hi, iam just wondering if little common bn (3-4cm) cat eat crs fry? I have seen up to 5-6 tinny crs, but now they have dissapeared!

The shrimp should be fast enough to avoid being eaten. My guess is they are hiding or if in fact they have died it is due to water fluctuations - i.e. sudden temp changes or ph swings from water changes etc. CRS shrimplets are extremely sensitive to such things.

bristlenose are pooing machines aren't they? High nitrates and CRS do no mix. it could well be that your nitrates are very high and this might have killed them. The bristles would have possibly cleaned them up. Hope I am wrong. Check water parameters, you should be aiming for 0 ammonia,0 nitrites and little if any nitrates.
