intern, the only times i have had bn's turn pale is dueto worm infestation. try avitrol plus (its a bird wormer). I find it best to dose 2-3 fish at a time in a seperate tank. I am currently trying panacur which seems to work ok. Read this

Good luck mate. Its been a while since I went through the same issue

I do hop that you dont have worms every time i see this post i check it hopping to see you reply with they have just breed male is fanning away of i havent been paying attention and now i seen little fry everywhere!

asfar as i know about camalanus worms they only do cause death when close to mature size i.e. showing through anus but yes i could be wrong i have seen a female die from camalanus worms that was holding eggs for a long time but im sure she died from not eating you need to keep an eye on there eating there poo.
i would sugest you treat but asfare as i know there are no treatments that kill this worm more that just make it release so then the fish end up eating them again so the process is continued!
once you treat you must have alot of air and you need to vacum 2 times a day just to be sure i seen people tell others to wait 30-45mins then go watch to see the worms drop to get them out !

i wish you the best of luck and you are lucky for if it is camalanus worms you would be getting them at an early stage if advanced the females will not be able to breed (once again what i have read or seen others advice) il try find an artical for you .

forget about breeding ATM. Dropping your temp by that much could stress already sick fish. I would worm the fish anyway. It is harmless if they dont have worms. I would only feed zucchini with garlic rubbed on it. It can help with gut problems. Have you seen their poop. They look a bit bloated.

I will treat the tank with avitrol for the worms,

I have taken all the hidding places and just left some wood in the tank so i can see if any more are dying

If the bristlenose have bloat how can you fix the problem

hi, poo is normally seen on the bottom of tank as brown bits maybe a cm long which break up farily rapidly as get disturbed by fish tails moving etc.
if it is white, long and stringy then there is a problem.
best diet for bloat, if only mild, is peas with skin off. if a bad case then may need epsom salt bath - but you would see very extended tummy if that bad.

Should I continue with the 10-15 daily water changes or cut them down to once every 3-4 days.

I will feed them peas and zuchini well see what happens

I will also go out and buy some avitrol to worm all my bristlenose tanks is there a procedure i have to do after this
