Just been looking around and I'm getting 2 latin names for cherry shrimp, Neocaridina denticulate sinenis and neocardinia heteropoda var red.
I have always known it to be heteropoda for the wild variation and just var red being a cherry shrimp.
Has the cherry shrimp been given a whole new latin name and classed as a totally different shrimp to neocardinia heteropoda and is now Neocardinia denticulate sinenis?
Or are they 2 different shrimp that look similar and both still exist? Can someone clear it up for me please, thanks.
