CO2 long-term test Correct + pH

Been looking at these, seems an easier and more accurate way to keep an eye on things

I found them a pain

If you want mine you can have it

I use a Ph and Kh test kit and it is easy to work out the C02 in the tank from that .

The book that comes with the C02 kit has a quick reference chart for this and as I do Ph and Kh tests every week it is no problem

As you can see the lower the Kh the narrower the Ph band.

I would aim for a Kh of 5 or 6 giving you a Ph range that is pretty average This would give you a Co2 of around 20 to 30 if your Ph was around 7

Cracking article there, you may need to join to read it, but its the best article I have seen written about using a long term test for CO2.

I'm using the kh/ph test kit method at the mo. My KH test kit is one of them where you count the drops and x10. I added 11 drops till it changed colour. The ph is 7.6 so im presuming that there isn't enough co2 going in?
