Hi all,

I found that my L333, generally preferred the bamboo caves and the usual tight fit. They also preferred the half round entrance and not square entrance, so came up with this.

Tools Needed : Slate piece, dried bamboo sliced in 2 , aquarium silicon, sand and 10minutes of time

then just glue

push down and fill sides with silica sand so cave is nice and dark

following nearly finished

brush off sand and let sit for 10-12days and then ready to use

cheers jk

very nice and effective. 14 days is a long time for just a cave. i normally find 48 hours is enough for caves, if it was a tank you were building i would say different.

I have various sizes, these are 4.5 wide and 3.5 high. Find as per all Ls , they like a tight fit, but like I said I have various sizes available. cheers jk

very nice , bigbird, and natural ,can't beat the look. Seen others use different materials and glass bottoms to peek, I suppose. Where did ya get the bamboo? Is it native in your area or purchase somewhere?
