I have 11 Eheim externals and couldnt tell you what any of them are:lol::lol:

Macvsog23 is the real Eheim geek and even sells reconditioned units at a very favourable price

I use the 300 pro on all my lower FH tanks but have a tetra tec on the house tank it has just started leaking for the second time in 12 months same fault ( tap housing unit) as last time - will they ever get it right !!!

They do seem to have the problem ironed out now, but it was a long hard slog with them for a while . The first few batches of EX1200 were faultless and never gave any grief, then came the leakers :wb::wb: and it was a nightmare!!!.
Happy to report that I have not had any returned now for 4-5 months, so its looking good.
