been years in the waiting.... and once again neglect seemed to be the answer

put them in with around 10 large royal whiptails which are spawning weekly... only fed a bit of zucchini and serra flora flake and aqua one tropical flake..

so no meaty foods i was thinking... hmmmm someones gotta be eating the royal whip fry as only a few from each spawn are surviving....

constant ph of 7.2 and temp variance is according to room temperature and 30% wc a week...

anyhow found an infertile egg on the gravel... then discovered 6 or 7 fertile eggs not far away... then found another 20 odd eggs in his cave with about 4 infertile eggs among them... tumbling them with some meth blue to stop infertile eggs fungussing and spreading to the rest.... i tried removing them but they wouldnt budge without detroying adjaecent eggs...

they prob wont make the distance and hatch but now they have spawned once they shouldnt be too far from going again....

20 eggs hatched... and 11 healthy wrigglers survived...

some of the dead wrigglers looked out of shape or undersize.... so looks like the strong may survive.... still not expecting much... most first spawns arent too successful
