i prefer to send at 3-4cm.... but havent lost any L-numbered fry even at 2-2.5cm....

IMO with fry still feed them as normal as food goes through them really quickly
particularly b/brine with hypans.... and panaques arent an issue either...

i prefer to bag 5-10 per large bag with 1-1.25 litres of water and oxygen... usually works about 25% water and 75% oxygen (by volume).... fish dont run outa water - they run outa air....

some people like to save on freighting costs by cutting down on bag size and water....

overall its all got to do with fry health and how they are bagged/packed before going to the airport....

I have had no problems either and sell at 3.5-4cm of all those L numbers. I don't feed the night before and do the same ratio and bagging as Johnno. It is in how you pack them I double bag and O2 and pack them with newspaper around them to stop them rolling around and get them to your destination the quickist way possible. lealea

I guess it depend a lot on the distance and total journey time. do the fish arrive in under 24 hours from tank to new home?
