Do you think that growing young Ls without hiding spaces will make them not so shy as adults, or should we not mess with nature and let them be?

I am planning to grow my young with no decor whatsoever hoping they will turn into adults that are out and about more. I personally hate the fact my L's hide all day, even though I know this is their natural behavior.

I might actually test this out and see what comes out of it.

Through generations of tank breeding its been proven to work but in one clutch, i think the trait is too strong.
It would also depend on the species some aren't as reclusive, making it easier for this trait to be played with.

i would add some decor so that they aren't always stressed, its their natural instincts to seek refuge , especially through the daylight hours, i guess thats the trouble with buying nocturnal fish
