hi all,can 2 dff types of plecos have babies :dk:
not sure wots goin on in my tank but my L134 is fat again,and has moved caves to a smaller one and my L081 has been following her where ever she goes.

i took this just after he tryed to get in the small cave with her

Highly unlikely as they are 2 different families, if it were 2 hypans for example then it could well be possible

thats ok then...thourght i might end up with some weirdo looking pleco freak fish thing.
its only cos i was reading how plecos go about breeding and then seeing my 2 doin allmost the same thinh lol

im guessing your gold nugget actually wants to eat your 134....

hes trying to get her into a cave so she cant get away and he'll munch her to death and feed on the carcass for a few more days....

its happend many times before... i had it happen to a giant whiptail by a male 260 who fancied a good feed....

just make sure they are not hungry then!

the ol barys can be very hungry for meat at times.....
