I got these leopard frogs a few weeks ago and I don't know but for plecs 18mths old they seemed an odd color and grossly obese.

Anyway, they are now eating sinking pleco tabs, bloodworm, shrimp tabs and cucumber and have much better color and a more muscled and trim appearance as the second photo shows.

I have no idea of sexes. I heard they are quite hard to sex. As long as I see some cute little fry at some time I don't really care who's m/f. I have a dozen in a 6ft tank with about 20 corydoras. I have tried growing a few plants but the artificial ones make the tank look much nicer.
Theirs is the bottom tank.

Great looking tank and great Frogs. Um sure out of the 12 you will have a good m/f ratio. They are one of the harder plecs to sex untill they are fully mature and in breeding mode.
