Hi,

I have had my L134's for about 18 Months now and have grown them from 3 to 3.5 cm to adults I had two males and the first time they attempted spawning the male I would say through inexperience killed the only female i had. So I tried to find some females and I must thank Krystine as she sold me the female that has now spawned with the male.

I don't know how long they have had eggs because I was called away for work for a week so i would say it happend whilst i was away, but all good in my books. I must say my wife had the success because she was the one doing all the hard work looking after all the fish in my absence.

I will try and get some photo's tomorrow to place on this thread but I might just leave the male alone this being his first lot of eggs. i will see how they are and make up my mind in the morning but I don't wish to disturb him to much.

I have also had my Pepermints, albino's and orange spots have young over the last month all growing well in a growth tank, so my wife is doing a great job id say. anyway thats about all for now i wish you all good luck and your fish good health.

well done. he may have kicked them out from inexperiance. also if you have been shining a torch in the cave then that can make them throw them out or worse (eat them). good luck

Yeah I have learnt the hard way to just let them be, I try not to disturb them to much once I know they have Eggs. I have a small torch with a red filter on it but I still try not to disturb them and so far so good. I learn more every time a colony breed as we all do.

Just a quick update, L134 Eggs two days after Male kicked them out, you can see the young developing so looks like I might have saved them in time. There is no sign of mould so all good and I will keep my fingers crossed.
