I think they'd like it rather dark for a cave instead of hospital white.
Have a look in the articles or equipment diy sections, there might be some homemade caves you could make, or buy a couple from the for sale section on this forum.

I would try a choice of caves, maybe an upturned flowerpot with entrance in it or a half coconut, or dark slate cave

You might be getting a few too many snails in that tank as the fry grow. Remember they are all pooping now and it might be a little too much as the fry get bigger.

I don't doubt that at all. Just need to find the time to get in there and pick a bunch out.
