Hi everyone. For the last year I have had a breeding pair of shortfin bristlenose that have breed every month. I also have 2 common female longfins in the tank with them. Last month I bought a new piece of driftwood. A couple days later the male was in the new driftwood. Last week I pulled some new babies out and put them in a grow up tank. I believe these new babies are longfins. I only got 10 babies out of this batch. When my common bn breeds I usually get around 50. Do longfins not produce as many as a common? Thanks everybody.
