L144 runts?

I've approx 100 5 week old L144 fry, all are fine apart from 2 which are a quarter the size of their siblings and are more white than lemon, apart from this they are active and are feeding. Anyone else had runts and are they likely to catch up?

I had a couple like that, one of them seems to be doing ok, the other one disappeared. The bigger fast growing ones tend to keep the smaller ones like these from getting the veggies etc, so its quite an uphill battle for them. But I guess its just a waiting game to see how they do.

I have had runt common BNs and ones with bent tails (maybe damage at birth or soon after?) so i guess its just nature. good luck, let us know how they get on.

Thanks, I'll just have to be patient. My fish don't usully have names but my mums named them Albert and Ellis, lol.
I'll be keeping a close eye on them.

I find the ones that look pale and don,t grow very well tend to die after a short while

You're right, they died within the last few days, just disappeared, they never did grow either, their siblings measure 3cm at 8 week old and they were just over 1 cm :rip::~(
