Update
Just thought I would update on how they are doing. They have spawned 5 times now, once without any fry surviving, and today I decided to hunt down what was left in the main tank from the first spawn as I kept seeing little ones flit about in the big piece of bogwood. I collected 8 out of there, much more than I thought so in total I now have 18 little ones
It was nearly 17 as at the last minute I saw one in the bucket after a water change so it nearly went down the drain :wb: it was this that prompted me to get them out of the main tank so I don't make the mistake again
They grow so very slowly though but there is quite a difference from the ones that have been in the breeding trap from hatching to the ones I caught today, they are half the size, so with these guys I really believe in getting them into a trap so they can feed well for a good few months before releasing into a tank
Here are a couple of pics I took of them in the breeding trap so not great.
