L202 are quite easy to spawn once you have them of mature age.
All the spawning triggers in the world won't set them off till they are good and ready.
I had undergravel filter, gravel, a canister filter and a powerfilter for the main current.
The ugf and canister were pretty much self sufficient and I seldom cleaned it but the powerfilter I gave a rinse in water change water every week.
They preferred the round log looking clay caves we have for bristlenose and the tighter the better.
I had anubias on driftwood in the tank and used rainwater with a bit of added vitamins and minerals since rainwater doesn't have much in it.
I also added a piece of coral to the tank to buffer the low ph from the rainwater and the driftwood. This meant that over a week the water would slowly buffer up and then when I did the weekly 20% water change it would drop the ph a bit. Not enough to shock them but enough that they would notice and get all excited like the rains had come.
They have good appetites and like all sorts of food but seeing females getting close to gravid I did include a little more of the meatier foods to mature the eggs.
Fry were the easiest L's I ever raised and I didn't lose one single one after hatching. They seem fairly fast to grow to saleable age as well, much like bristlenose.
Oh btw, when you pick the L202's up they can make that funny catfish squeek some species do.
