Are the fry devolped now before dying, ie, three weeks old and leaving the cave to look for food, or are they still dying at the one to two week old devolpment stage.
Just trying to see if the fry were a bit older before dying this time ?
The thing i find with the fry deaths i have had, it is usually ended up with something to do with feeding (different reasons), and not just plec fry deaths, fry not devolping fully and dying, is more tricky.
I find it hard to believe it is really water quality, as i don't think the adults would breed if the water wasn't alright.
Try some Underworld Polyfilter in a internal filter, it was something i was told a while back, it cleans up the water well and is good for emergencies, but it is costly and you will also need a spare internal filter to put it in.
Small Piece Of Underworld Polyfilter On Ebay
Cut the Polyfilter up into the size of the two filters pads a Fluval 2 internal uses, put the polyfilter in the Fluval 2 instead of the normal pads, and run it in the tank.
It will be a good test with the batch of eggs the male currently has, as the Polyfilter will remove any pollutants from the tank if there is any, and it will let you rule out that something is wrong with your water quality.
Is the TDS of the water you are using for water changes the same as the tank water now, meaning there is no change in TDS when doing a water change, and are you pre heating the new water to near the tanks water temperature ?
