Hi all, I have been a member for a while but this is my first post so I hope I have put it in the right place.
I was cleaning my L260 tank out today and was very happy to discover that there are wrigglers in one of the caves, I have had them for nearly 2 years and they spawned once before but I did not notice and accidentally killed the fry.
Can anyone tell me the best food for the fry once they come out of the cave?
Regards, Bill

Hi, they are not out of the cave yet but I had a look yesterday and they have lost their egg sacs and look like miniatures of the adults, it looks like there are about a dozen of them.
I have been putting some micro worms in late at night in case they come out in the dark and a couple of blood worm pellets.
I think I may have just got some L270 from you Irene? my friend Rob collected some for me yesterday, if it was you, they are great little fish, he picked some up for me a while back as well which have grown rapidly and now 2 of them are actually guarding caves - just practicing I think as they are still too small to breed. Regards, Bill

At last!, one was out of the cave today, I was beginning to think they had been eaten. I am very happy and hope these are the first of many.
How long do they take to grow to say 1"? as I have read somewhere that they are slow growers.

Whoop whoop:clap:

Rock on with the spawn, Queen Arabesque are proper mint :D

Fry are pretty slow growing but not on the level of 46 or 400 etc. it will take about 3 or 4 months to get to 1" dependent on feeding etc

you gotta love the Queen Arabesque:clap:

Cheers
