well at last they have done it again.

question is how do i remove the fry/ adult from the cave? i left nature to take its course last time, and lost all the fry. So this time i want to try and raise them myself.

i will need to remove the adult 1st, but how!
The young still have their egg sacks, and are 'just' starting to wobble about.

will try to get pics later on.

ok this may sound bad to some people but I just set up the trap and then tip the cave quickly over the top of the trap and the male normally stays firmly locked in the cave and the fry drop straight out into the trap.

Goodluck:yes:

worked for me. i now have 10 wrigglers in the fry trap, and abour 10 more still in the cave, where the eggs seem attached to the cave wall still.
is about 20 ish an average size brood for 333's?

I put the cave (from Breamlegent, hi mate) into the trap for a few days. Just make sure al the eggs had hatched. The fry normally come out first thanjust the matter of get daddy out!

its easier once they have hatched, getting just the egss out is really difficult unless the cave opens. but of course my plecs dont choose those ones!!

well i knocked the fry trap, and they all escaped into the tank, which is a pain, buy fingers crossed they are old enough to deal with it now!
