Hi,

You can find some information there: Panaqolus sp. "L 397"

To encourage spawning with Panaqolus, a strong change in the conductivity of the aquarium water has often proven effective.
There are examples where a group spawned with the first owner when he lowered the conductivity. After being passed on, the same group spawned with the new owner when the conductivity was raised. So obviously the only thing that matters is the change.

Greetings

In aquariums, this depends on the amount of dissolved salts.
In my home town, there the tap water has a conductivity of approx. 300 µS/cm.
Osmosis water has a conductivity of <10 µS/cm
