little help please with breading

hi everyone, we have around 40 adult peppermint bristlenose and would like to bread them, im thinking of trying to put them into trio's I have 3 tanks ready to put them into but wondering how to choose the 3 to go into each tank and any info to help get them to bread would be great thanks

Hi mate, pick three at random, they may breed or they may not. I used to breed them three females to two males.

dose the size matter should I get the biggest male ect ?

pick 3 biggest males and 6 biggest females and away you go... assuming they are not old age pensioners

how old are the fish ?

there all aged between 2 and 4 years old, so should be ok

peps breed like crazy once they start normally at 2 years.... good for 2-3 years then they slow down.....:thumbup:
