Albinos X Common longfin breeding log..
I got good and bad news...
I had to take the female albino lf out of the tank because she was not ready to mate, he beat her up bad, bad enough that I had to perform an amputation on her pectoral fin cos it had been broken in half..
she still has the flowing part of soft fin, but the bony part is now half the length it was.
She is fine and now lives in my main display tank till she is older...

I added my female common longfin into the males tank did a 40% water change & whammo!!! 3 hours later EGGS !!!! :woohoo: I'm so stoked I could run up n down the street yelling "I got eggies I got eggies, whooop whooop whoooop!"
This was a few days ago...They are about to hatch :woohoo:..

Keep You posted on there progress :D :D :D :D So chuffed

moo well done just chacked my tank have wriglers in peppermint tank was seeing how many pairs i had so i could sell them i think they must of known cheeky buggers fingers crossed

They Hatched, Last night, two fell out of the cave, prolly from him fanning madly, so I stole those of course...:D, Keep you posted, I will add a succession of photos later...:yes:
