at least something is spawning in this house!!! lol.

question, they have spawned in my community tank, should i remove the eggs from the cave into a fry save with airstone. or leave them?

i'm just worried the anamo shrimp will have for dinner as soon as its lights out!

They should be fine, mine spawned in community tank, theres amano and cherry shrimp in mine. Make sure to cover any filter intakes with tights or something otherwise you might lose a few when they start exploring, also you might need to cover the heater with something other than those plastic things as the babies can easily still get to the heater as i found out first time round.

From what i recall alot of members use shrimps as a form of prophylaxis, (Fungal defence) for the egg's.

Shrimps will be fine with them... what fish do you have in there any that will eat the fry once they leave the cave?

its a small fish community tank, few guppies, few platies, shoal of ember tetra's few neon tetra's, few dwarf gourmi's, largest fish are 5x congo tetra's, so i think there only predators will the external filters!

My ABN fry love "decapsulated brine shrimp eggs"! I also feed them some fry starter and pleco wafers. They do excellent and I have no fish loss at all. Mine spawn in a 20 long tank and the adult pleco's treat them great! (I have not other fish in the spawning tanks) Good luck!

mine are coming along well!
def over 100 i think, and the male is back in the cave again, so fingers crossed for more!

will be able to start finding them some new homes about xmas.

and the 183 male is back in the caev, so maybe a double spawning!

there does seem to be a few spawnings in this colder weather

You could try putting some veggies in for them as well as crushed flake/algae wafers, my fry were quite happy to tackle courgette, once they were a few days old.
