Last month I bought in Cesena a group of 6 small Panaque maccus and I dedicated a tank of 65 liters. Since snails are abundant weeds yesterday I added 2 badis badis because I'm afraid that too many snails eat any eggs. The snails are still too many.
However, how could stimulate reproduction in P. maccus?
thanks

how big are the maccus? are they old enough to breed? what sort of snails have you got (most small snails do not eat plec eggs)

no idea about the planorbarius but the trumpet snails are not a problem I have them in all my tanks and never seen them eat plec eggs. I just remove excess manually or with a net that is not too fine so the sand falls back out. they are good for burying in the sand and keeping it aireated

the Planorbarius are very large ...
the pleco are from 4 to 6 cm
some questions,
at what age they reach maturity sessulae?
I think they are my Panaque aff. maccus and not P. maccus, is there any difference in growth - farming?
