Cheers guys..

This one was a lot more lemony than the rest (I chose him primarily because he'd been living in a planted tank and hadn't scoffed or dug 'em up..), the colour was a welcome bonus

My son decided his name is Charlie (could've been a whole lot worse, we have a 6' Swiss Cheese plant called Keith)..

Saw a couple of flashes of tail fin before bed last night.. he's totally disappeared this morning though.

Quick q...

I guess he's about 4" long now (minus tailfin), if he were a 'hi-fin', how tall would the dorsal be?

Watching him zoom about this afternoon it looks to be a good 1.5", possibly a tad more, when it's fully erect..

Are there any other identifying features?

It doesn't make any difference to him in our care, he's going nowhere.. but it'd be nice to know exactly what we have

oh, he's a beauty for sure ,nice buy !

doggies love fish wafers ,yep, mine too, so you can start your new L200 on zucchini (skin on) as they are very similar to the blue phantoms , and mine love the skin. Also, green bell pepper , red bell pepper favs also.

good luck with him

if it is a hi fin, there will be a small membrane between the dorsal and adipose fins, there aren't many other difining factors. The Dorsal will be taller on a hi fin, but its not a massive difference and not easy to tell that way unless you see a hi and low fin next to each other

Will see if I can grab a look if he pops out later..

So far he has refused cucumber, courgette (zucchini), sweet potato and mango. Got some bell pepper in the fridge, going to have a bash with that.

He has munched on bogwood, peas (defrosted, raw, shelled), algae wafers, shrimp and mussel though. I (think I) know too much of the meaty stuff isn't good for him but it's part of the diet for the rest of the inmates. Not easy to stop him from having a bash at it..
