Hey Guys thinking of making some diy corner filters basically to in effect skim the surface to act as bio filters which will rarely need touching/cleaning as they will only be taking water from the surface and will use my other filters for mechanical.

Does anyone know where any can get any sheets of plastic that would be fit for purpose and safe for aquarium use?

No fussy on colour etc but would be good if it was the sorter container/sandwich container kind of plastic so that it is easer to make holes in without drilling as appose to harder more brittle plastics.

Thanks

Thanks

get ureself a drill and some square drainpipe, cut the drainpipe with a hacksaw diagonally giving you 2 L shaped pieces as tall as you want. gravel and sponge and filterfloss, powerhead in top outlet pointing out hole that you have drilled!

same dance as juwel corner filters.

you would silicone them into the corner of your tank tho

obviously loads of small holes down the bottom end.
