playing with food !

Our panaque always knocks/ pushes his food round the tank before eating it
Funny to watch must be a behavioral thing trying to hide it under a log

lol the food i put in is pounced on and weighted to the ground by half a dozen plec's-no time to play with it. lol

It's like that in the other tank but the panaque doesn't do sharing
he's probably trying to hide the food from his tankmate but I out wit him by putting 2 slices of Corgette in one each end:woohoo:

I give my L240 potatoes twice a week, and just run the handle of a stainless steel spoon through the piece of potatoes before setting in tank. Prevents the piece from moving around the tank to much. Just don't use forks or knives as they have edges/points they can hurt themselves on.

Forgot to say that I do weigh down their food with a spoon, a teaspoons the perfect size:clap:

Panaque seem to do this. I see mine doing this here and there it's pretty funny.
