I used to breed excessively and all my caves were on the bottom those that weren't had an entrance platform. Like slate or the top of a flat rock. Flow not so important oxygenated water the most important.

I've noticed some of the fish venturing up to the second and third tier.
The fish all seem a bit happier since I've covered the front of the tanks with cardboard
One thing I have just realised about the flow though is that my L200 stopped eating and looked very skinny with no wavemaker but started eating like pigs when I put it back in
