Trapping

Hi all

Just wondering how long can a male trap a female for? I noticed yesterday afternoon that my male 397 had a female trapped in the cave and they are still like it now its been over 24 hours could even be longer before i discovered it.

I once had L134s trap for 10 days :fr: I had no fingernails left by the end of it

depends on catfish my whiptails last up to four days

you may find the male backs out to eat late at night when your asleep and female gets out... but before morning she'll be back in the cave with him up her date!!!.... gives you the impression shes imprisoned for long periods of time...
got a 134 male at the moment thats hard at it... pardon the pun... been 4 days so far....

Agree with above anything from a day upto 10 at the most, even then I would just keep an eye on them, make sure theres no fighting and the female looks ok.
