Hi guys and girls,
I currently have a 90cm x 40cm x 40cm tank (3ftx1.5ftx1.5ft) with a pair of peppermint bristlenose.
Currently running an airstone, one 800L/hr internal and one 400L/hr internal, one on each side.
I was wondering if I could divide the tank with a clear perspex divider with holes in it, so that each side has 45cm (1.5ft), almost making it TWO 1.5ft cubes, having one breeding pair on each side.
If I got lucky, is there a chance of both pairs breeding around similar periods? Or will only one pair breed and the other pair not because the other male 'senses' the dominant male on the other side?
Nothing else will be in the tank, just four peppermint plecos, a pair on each side.
Was considering doing a trio on each side, but that depends on whether I can land any more females
Thanks in advanced!!
