I've sold my breeding L004 pair last year due to a new arrival into the family. This breeding pair have been a prolific breeder, the male is constantly fanning eggs and he is pretty big measured around 10cm+.

Now fast forward to this month, as usual I check on all my tanks every few weeks to make sure everything is still in order and to my surprise I've found a small male trapping a female. At the weekend the frys are ready to leave the cave. This small male at a guess is only 7cm and female 6cm and they are probably the tenth generation and roughly less than 2 years old. I was expecting another year or so before there's any actions with this young colony. This tank is really over crowded and need to move this batch to somewhere else to grow....like the title said I don't need this now....

Here is dad with frys..taken with Samsung S2..unbelieveable.

Cheers

I've kept and breed most of the hypan's and I can tell you there's no skills involve including L260. All u need is time for them to mature and a stable diet (good protein). Then again I might be lucky for the past 10 years.

I will give this batch away for Sydney plecoplanet members. When this batch hit 2cm I will contact one of the mod to organise this give away.

Cheers.
