Hi all i got pair whiptails of bigjohnnofish picked up from airport saturday they layed monday just a few about 20 eggs (and thats y i get all my stock from him )will try and get some pics up soon :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

nice! i thought the female was ready to spawn within the week.... you must have good water as she didnt wait!.... :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
bit of a challenge raising fry - see how you go... they'll spawn plenty more times so it gives you plenty of chances to get some fry raised...
i feed them viformos a couple times a week... it helps keep the eggs sticky and stuck to the glass.... but they'll eat almost anything.... mix up the vege/protein foods a bit... dont feed too much protein foods...
one food to avoid is bloodworms... untill they are really big adults its prob the only food that doesnt agree with them... knocks them dead overnight sometimes....

arr ok cos i did see a couple eggs come off i had a bad nitrate test kit and was giving bad reading well so i thought did 50 % water change in 3 tanks 1 being 7ft before i clicked that nitrate test kit **** and thats what has made her lay but all good lol
