Who is the boss in your tank?

I would have to say my common plec. When there are wafers are on the bottom of the tank, every night he swims up and down real close to the bottom to keep the other plecs off them lol.
No-one messes with him due to the fact he is 3+ times bigger than them:clap:

I would have to say the boss in my main plec tank would be my 25cm L001. He takes crap from no one including the big fella who is double his size.

Every tank has a boss, usually the most dominant male. I have mainly species only tanks so its the biggest male in each tank.
Im the boss at home - when my wife isnt here, lol.

In my community tank either the L183s or my female apistogramma when she's spawned.

In the 129 tank, the big (probably a male) 129 is definitely 'the boss'

the boss in my tank is one of my 96's. its only about 9" but the 2 big scarlets (12" and 14") are terified of it!

Mine would be my 15cm L333 male he scares even the barbs away hmy:
The little males try but dont get further than the other end of the tank.

Mine is my 4inch L200 green phantom he takes no crap and if any other plec gets in his den he will move instanlly lol

I have a Rhino thats probably about 8 inches long now and he's the big dog at the moment, but theres a baby Gibby in there that isn't scared of anything and growing like a weed. :yes:
