Looking to possibly try and breed a few of these soon in my new 75l tank. It will probably be lightly planted and serve as a grow out tank for BN fry.
Couple of Q's
1 how many do u think I should get???
2 will they eat my BN fry???
3 do u think there is any chance of them breeding???
4 will the BN eat the eggs???

Thanks :)

You don't need much apart from shallow water and chunky gravel and once they spawn take them out. The eggs don't take long to hatch and will be fine at room temp. Change water a little every day once swimming and feed very small crushed food tiny amount each day. They grow fast.

Zebra danios are probably better of at room temp without a heater.

I had very shallow water with no heater that my fry grew quickly in. I did then transfer them to a community tank at 26c once they were half adult size.

Danio adults eat anything they are physically able to consume. Bristlenose wont be able to eat danio eggs if they fall between gravel or large pieces of substrate. Not certain danios would eat bristlenose fry especially if they stay in the cave long enough once hatched.

If the eggs get ate it will probably be by the danio parents during spawning. If the water is shallow it will be more difficult for them to I guess.
