will adhere members advice

:wb:eek:k thanks d, yikes this is driving me nuts...so what should i use that wont mess with my filter media ? I know lornek8 said maracyn 1 and 2 but paranoid i might overdose as i cant be sure exactly how much water i have in there now ...so is that the best remedy for this or should i look for a food with antibacterial in it ?

Also , I should inform you that i have no access to a computer and all my posts have been via phone through my nephew and have not had the opportunity to read others threads and feel out of the loop because of it, i am working on getting a laptop but until then i am at ''others ,mercy '' along with the members here . I hope this dosent cause a problem...i appreciate all your help ,big time

OK so which way should i go ?? will stop the artemess and await replies.. sorry lorne i appreciate your response but i did get freaked out about the biomedia situation....however , if this is what you suggest ,or a food antibiotic ,i will take that chance....you guys are experienced here and i will follow . thanks for letting me know about the artemiss . Will await your reply thanks very much and thanks for all your patience, Georgie

Hi Georgie
Going by your previous post you said that the fish is eating well again...That's great news  I wouldn't add any more meds to the system at all, just observe and keep the water in tip top condition as this seems to be working...Back to the Artemiss, you will find no problems adding this to the tank as it is not a med but a herbal health stimulant which can only be a good thing.

Hi, thanks D mac, and to let you know I am still doing this via phone with my nephew, until i get a laptop. Hope the members dont mind.
Fish are eating fine, I cannot get Mericin I and II suggested by lornek8 as store is sold out at the moment. So, I'll keep an eye on them. And keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again big time. Hope to be back on soon. Thanks, Georgie

info on Voogle as you requested

Do you have any more information on Voogle? Never heard of it before. Looked it up but there is no mention of ingredients.

Doesn't look like something metronidzole would necessarily be used for. Metro is a bit hard to use & at least in my expereince marginally effective. It doesn't look all that bad to me but its a bit difficult to tell the full extent from the shadowing. Was anything changed recently? Water? Decor? How long has it been like that? Might try to go with something like mela/pimafix first then if required maybe an antibiotic.

sorry took so long to respond re: Voogle
made by Easy-Life from Holland www.easylife.nl

you are correct, it does not list the ingredients...wonder why not :dk:

,it claims to treat many things incl ich ,columnaris etc. and it says it is safe for all fish inc inverts-shrimps,crabs,snails,corals, plants and will not harm the beneficial nitrifing bacteria in filters. Safe for fresh and marine .
Natural treatment for fish diseases and immune booster.

I dislike using anything in my tanks except gotta use prime , however ,I wonder if anyone else has heard of this stuff?

Easylife is a trusted range and I use a lot of their products, However Voogle is not one of them...By what I am reading it pretty much the same thing as Artemiss, an immuno health booster.

thanks D - much appreciated info.
This weekend I was cleaning/vacuuming the 54g trigon with the 2 L128's . Got a look at the tummies and all back to normal ,whew. no redness inside the tummy.

I used the Artemiss following the instructions , they ate the entire time, and it has been many weeks since I stopped it ,but had not had a chance to see the tummies till yesterday(not from lack of trying).

Thanks again to everyone who helped ,I really thought he/she was a ''gonner''
