Hi Folks

Eggs seem ok I normally don’t have a lot of luck with eggs in fry savers so fingers crossed and fry have been placed in grow on tank.
Along with L410 fry.
To make space I am listing a couple of pairs of these fish on E Bay tomorrow.
If any one is interested please contact me before tomorrow.

Sadly the eggs went manky
But the little tinker is at it again.
He has a female trapped in a cave and is quivering like billy-oh.

I am going to separate him and 1 female at the week end.
I am positive he is eating or kicking out the eggs to get a female in to the cave.

So far I have had 5 spawning and in less than 2 weeks so I am confident i have 4 or 5 females.

It is quite amazing they are just spawning almost like that is all they do. But then that is all nature want any organisam to do have sex kill and then die.

The 6 remaining fish are defiantly the same fish so I am sticking with L173 for now.

Bob,
Congrats on the spawns, hope they do well for you.
Whilst i can't confirm for sure what they are or aren't, i did have five of the original fish imported from Glasers by Jo which looked identical to what you have here. Jo has around 35 fry from these fish, which must be well over a year old now, will be interesting to see if these attain the same shape/size as the adults ?
Cheers,
Kenny
