Nice Martin. Is the 90L a square tank? How long have you had the plants at the back? I think they are houseplants mate.

thanks, you maybe right about the 2 plants at the back they were bought a couple of months ago from ma and some of their potted plants are house plants, not sure about them myself as i was hoping they would spread out abit more.
and the tank is a cube

Update

Here are my latest tank photo's, think i'm finally happy with the look.
Still having issues with hair algae, have added a Koralia Nano circulation pump in the back left corner to try to improve flow around the tank.

Am dosing with Seachem liquid carbon daily and liquid ferts every other day.

Vallis is doing particularly well, am having to trim every week and remove off-shoots every week or else it would take over the whole tank.

G'Day Everyone :hi:
Thought I would share my tanks with you.

My Biggest One, I call 'Ram Manor'
320L, 5 foot, in a hand made cabinet.
Running two canister fiters. Otto, & AquaOne.
Heater, 300watt...set at 27'
Lighting is 2x 4foot fluorescent 'Relle' globes.
Landscaped with driftwood & heavily planted ..
Fertiliser is Dave Wilson's, Dino range...from Aquagreen.com.au 's, I only use the 'Pee N Spit' lol, works wonders...
Substrate is normal gravel..
Inhabitants are:
2x Neon Blue Rams(a pair )
2x Boilivian Rams(sub adults, looking like males)
4x Angels, (1 pair,currently with eggs) & two juveniles home bred by me
3 oto cats
3 common bristlenose cats(2 longfin)
10 Cardinal tetras.



60L
Filtration: 1x hangon & 1x sponge filter.
Sand substrate. moderatly planted.
Heater: 100 watt , set at 25'
Medium light.
medium planting..
This one houses my
3 peps and some A Cherry shrimp, A grade Crystal Red shrimp, & some Darwin Algae shrimp, (kungfu shrimp)



This is one of my L397 tanks,
70L
Heaters x2, 50watt positioned either end...set on 25'...
Filtration: 1x Hangon, 1x sponge filter...
Lighting: high output lighting. x 2 globes.
Substrate: half is small brown gravel & the other half is normal honey gravel.
DIY Co2..
Inhabitants...2x L397s,
1x Albino lf catfish(female, awaiting an introduction to her new boyfriend)
With the above shrimp in it also..only B grades of the crystals and cherries...



My Q tank
28L
Filtration: 1x internal filter, 1x sponge filter.
Substrate: Black small gravel
Heater: 59Watt..set on 25'
Heavily planted.
Currently housing
4x Endler males
1x Albino longfin Catfish (Male, the new boyfriend )



This one is my other L397 (for now*)
60L
Hang on filter, plus 1 sponge filter
Heater: 50 watt..
Substrate: normal gravel.
Medium Planted (+ there is more drift wood now than in the photo)
Housing
My 2 new L397s ..+ a few guppys ..



(for now*) meaning, I will move albino male & albino female longfins to this tank to see if they will make babies for me, once he is out of the Q tank :D
The L397's will all be housed in the current 70L,Co2,L397 tank.

Thats called a 'Beeramid' its for the shrimp to hide in, its long tubes of terracotta pipes tied together. they love them :thumbup: ..I had it sent to me as a gift, so sorry, I can't tell you where to get one.

Your tanks are really cool:yes:

I think you can buy shrimp shelters online, they are a good idea for giving shrimp a safe retreat.

It's a custom size of 70x40x40cm around 120L
2 Pearl Gouramis
5 Guppies
3 Rainbows (soon to be given to my brother)
2 Platys + 5 tiny babies
1 Blind Cave Tetra
2 Pepper Corys
1 Albino Bn
1 Marble Bn
1 Peppermint
I Native Catfish
2 Random Shrimp
1 Kuhli Loach
1 Bumblebee Goby

Picking up an L002 from Brengun soon :clap:

my tank rio 400

low tech. occasional ferts , no co2, small gravel, wood, planting(cabomba, java fern, amazon swords, cryptocoryne wendtii, vallisneria.) 2 x 40w t8's 12 hours a day. low stocked with 1 x fluval 405. 10% weekly water change max.

community plec tank - neons, rosey tetras, xray tetras, platinum tetras, cardinals. Marble hatchets, balloon molly, ember tetras. cherry shrimp , amano shrimp, bee shrimp, red nose shrimp, 2 x cameroon armoured fan shrimp.

plecs - l128, l200, l191, l114, l129, l235, brown & albino common bristlenose. Otos and cory sterbai.
