Any pics of your 8x6 mate.. I have the same and would like to see how you have utilised the space.. Ill post some of mine here later.. Currently have the electricians working on a new supply...:clap: nice job mate makes my 8ftx6ft one look basic :clap:
Well ill post mine and you can maybe get some ideas from mine. I use individual heaters in each tank.hi joe,not finished just yet got 4 tanks coming tommorrow got elec in and oil rad up and running to keep the cold out will post pics when all in and running:thumbup:
i still have the big tanks as well, wont be getting rid of the pseuda's etc, this is just extra lol.Very nice Brian
I always thought of you as a Pseudacanthicus (big plec) keeper as well.
Is your fish room a ground floor room with a concrete floor ?
Lino is the cheapest and best thing for a fish room floor, catches any water spills and is easy to wipe clean.
Just wait till you need to give every tank a good clean, it'll be 8hrs and 10mins for cleaning LOL !
i'll be doing half of it the hard way, syphoning out into a bucket to empty the tanks, but i will be filling the tanks back up again from a 200ltr water butt and a pond pump, only takes 15 mins to do a dozen tanks, most of that is emptying the water outNow thats a fish room! On my travels i have been to some local fish shops which have not got as many tanks or tank potential as you have in the pictures!
Getting old now and if and when i ever upgrade my fish house it will be automatic with water changes! dont seem to see anything like this from your pictures, are you going to do it the old fashion way with buckets sloshing around?
Why have i not seen them about? That is ingenious. Ebay here i come.as for LED's steve, they do make LED flourescent tubes now, but very pricey to buy at the mo, i am planning on replacing any bulb that dies with a new LED tube.
