This should be a dock for different water levels.
Gone into operation, it is probably never.

On the Isla Raton can be very good complement provisions.

Hi,

... at noon we were back at our camp. A little later two bongos came to the rapids. They brought tourists from Puerto Ayacucho to the (late) lunch and swimming. The "normal tourist" also probably penetrates more and more.

A few pictures from the afternoon / evening:

Hi,

Arrival at the port of Samariapo (pink marker without dot)

Fitzcarraldo? - Original ship lies in Peru.

------------------------

From Samariapo we went back by car to Puerto Ayacucho, back in the everyday Venezuelan life.

On the Rio Ventuari you have not received the (normal) phone. On our first visit to San Fernando de Atabapo we had overtaken a bad news:
our flight back from Puerto Ayacucho to Maiquetia (Caracas) was canceled. On the flight one day late we could not leave us, the risk of missing our flight back to Germany would have been much too large.

We had ask the company that gave us the bongo to organize us a car / van for the trip to Maiquetia.

This was also done. However, five of us with the driver plus luggage - that would be about 30 ° C with the pick-up shown us become nothing.
For a night ride, the driver was not too enthusiastic - at least it was a matter of a certain cost. Fortunately, cook of our bongo still organize a comfortable van for reasonable cost.

To be continued.

Hi,

Our drive to Maiquetia started at 8:30.

Someone once said, since about 10 hours driving time. That would not quite fit for the nearly 1,000 km, was already clear.

At first step we went to El Burro, the ferry across the Orinoco. There we had only 30 minutes waiting time (red line: Map).

Then there was for photos from the car too dark.

Between Caracas and Maiquetia then we were stuck in traffic.

2) Yes. But I want do not tell more.

@Multi
Yes, there the beef was very good.
There are many grills on the side of the road, where you can buy beef.

Greetings
