My mini Fishroom Finally up and running

some people have whip tails, some corys and some tetras etc. I would not go for the barbs, as they do not like to hot temps. Tetras there are a huge variety. I have rummy nose in all of my tanks and corys as well. You can leave them in or take out, that is a personal thing. cheers jk :thumbup:

Ok I will get 5 tetras for each tank tomorrow..... I wouldnt think so, but do they affect the breeding if I leave them in? if not Im happy to leave them there, more colour and life considering the 134s are always caving or hiding haha

Neon tetras don't seem very hardy. Get the cardinal tetras instead. The red bit runs the length of the underside of the body and they will be more expensive. Good part is they don't mind the warmer pleco temperatures.

ok, Well i was going for serape tetras instead of the neons just cause there 0.99$ each, I will have a look at cardinals though.

Serpaes tend to be rather nippy, aggressive & i'd think pretty efficient fry predators.

ok, well then there out.... I will look at cardinals, although don't think I can get them at that price. I think the offer is for either, Neons, Serpae, White clouds, zebra danios or plattys. Any of them ok?

Decided upon, zebra danios. Considering they are $1 each and they are peaceful fish that are quite hardy, I figured these would be good.

Highly fry predatory though, at least they were with my angelfish eggs & fry. Caused a problem for the angels as well because they were too quick & agile.

No worries, Thanks bigbird. Rummy nose were $5 each and they had no white clouds left so thought the zebras would be the best option from what I had to choose from. I will test water on Monday and let you all know the parameters. Hopefully the fish do their jobs in the tank now.

White coulds are actually cold-water fish so do better at cooler temps.

Thought so

So I have 5 danios in each of my 2 tanks and now there not good cause they will eat my fry. To be honest I wouldn't have thought danios like mine would be able to eat fry the same size as them

Well, you don't curently have fry yet do you?
Zebra danios will grow & grow quickly. They'll be plenty large enough soon.

No fry as yet. Well when I get my 134s in 2 weeks or so I am going to attempt catching the danios haha and move them into another tank that I plan to start cycling as a spare or grow out. So shouldn't be a problem. Only thing is now catching the buggers.
